Must have a clean design aesthetic with a keen interest in branding, digital and experiential design. Projects range from creating identity systems for media brands, to multi-platform lifestyle advertising and event design. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver and communicator with the ability to generate big ideas and execute them through production.

Requirements:
Fluency in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop
2-6 years of experience in branding, advertising, or related field
Availability to work on and off site if necessary
Exceptional design and branding work in portfolio
Keen attention to detail
Excellent typographical skills
Exceptional organizational & communication skills
A demonstrable interest in podcasts, cultural movements, music and fine art

Special interest given to candidates who:
Have copywriting skills
Knowledge of HTML/CSS

work x work seeks a experienced Editor for a range of compelling audio projects. Projects range from custom stories for brands, to artist profiles and On Air Fest content.

The ideal candidate has a background in branded audio, and appreciates the specialized work of partnering with clients to tell meaningful stories. The Editor will oversee post-production; from assembling assets to handling the final mix. We are looking for someone who can provide expert editorial guidance for structuring narratives and creatively utilize sound to amplify stories.

The Editor must be NYC-based with the ability to work both onsite in our Downtown Brooklyn HQ and remotely.

Key responsibilities:

Be part of a highly collaborative, low-ego team of multi-disciplinary thinkers=
Ability to expertly manage time and prioritize tasks during simultaneous production of multiple episodes
Experience with organizing media assets and post-production workflows
Strong editorial judgement
Think creatively about sound
Deftly balance feedback from multiple stakeholders

Requirements:

Fluency in ProTools. Additional audio software skills a plus
3+ years experience in audio production

podcast associate producer

We seek an experienced Associate Producer for a range of compelling audio projects. Projects range from custom stories for brands, to artist profiles and On Air Fest content.

This position is ideal for someone with the ability to craft emotional and immersive audio stories that make people care about the issues covered. The ideal candidate will have experience with story concepting and writing for radio, as well as interviewing and talent booking.

Producers must be NYC-based with the ability to work both onsite in our Downtown Brooklyn HQ and remotely. The position may require some travel.

Key responsibilities:

Be part of a highly collaborative, low-ego team of multi-disciplinary thinkers
Listen to raw tape and hone in on the key moments
Ability to identify the narrative in an interview
Produce draft edits of episodes
Conduct field and in-studio interviews
Oversee media asset management including audio files and transcripts
Develop and instigate post-production workflows
Ability to expertly manage time and prioritize tasks during simultaneous production of multiple episodes

 

Requirements:

Experience with ProTools, additional audio software skills a plus
1-2 years experience in audio production
Based in New York City

We seek a motivated intern ready to build their real world event production, strategy and digital communication skills at our Brooklyn HQ. This multifaceted internship will provide opportunities to contribute research and ideas to On Air Fest 2019 while being exposed to the daily operations of a creative agency.

The ideal intern is a digital native who is immersed in the world of audio storytelling, music & culture. You relish the opportunity to talk about your favorite podcasts, and your friends come to you for recommendations on the best new music to listen to. You have a tremendous appetite and curiosity for a range of cultural events around the city, and are always seeking out fresh artists, venues and experiences to satiate it. You navigate file management systems (Google Suite, Dropbox) with ease and are a confident communicator.

Our team is collaborative, ambitious and hands on, so you will have the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of agency operations.

About On Air Fest

Coming into its third year in 2019, On Air Fest [http://onairfest.com/] is the festival exploring storytelling and creativity in sound. On Air Fest takes inspiration from creative conferences, performance art and music festivals—hyphenating worlds and providing a magical space to advance the culture of audio. In 2018, On Air Fest hosted over 120 of the top podcast and audio storytelling talent for three days of intimate conversations, performances, installations and live tapings and show launches.

Responsibilities
Attend team idea meetings
Copywriting and editing
Alongside Senior Producer, maintain contact lists, worksheets, database entries and timelines for client projects and festivals
Pitch content for agency and festival social media platforms
Assist team in developing collateral for outreach initiatives
Research events for the team to attend for networking and talent exposure
Brainstorm and pitch session concepts for On Air Fest
Research unique and unexpected guests talent from the worlds of podcasting, radio, music and audio art

Qualifications
Familiarity with NYC culture scene and podcast landscape
Highly motivated, strong work ethic
Organizational finesse
Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design a strong plus

The Details
Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum of two days/week. Internships take place at our Brooklyn HQ during business hours (M-F 10-6). We provide a subway transit stipend, a $20/day meal credit, a three-day pass to On Air Fest 2019 and academic credit where applicable. This position will start immediately and run through the fall, with possibility for extension.

work x work seeks an experienced social media editor for a combination of outside client and agency projects. The ideal candidate is a digital native with a strong track record for engaging audiences online, excellent copywriting skills, a keen visual eye and has a finger on the pulse of cultural trends.

This position will kick off with amplifying On Air Fest 2019, including strategy, cross-platform content, audience growth and engagement as well as working in concert with our PR and production teams to drive festival coverage.

Other projects include ideation and execution for our clients in hospitality, lifestyle, tech and media as well as marketing communications and social branding for our agency.

Responsibilities:
Ideate new campaigns, promotions, and themes
Write and schedule social media content calendars
Execute organic and paid campaigns (Facebook, Insta, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Produce and/or manage the production of graphic content
Ability to communicate uniquely for different brands
Monitor and respond to analytics
Weekly reporting
Create and manage promotions/contests on Facebook and other channels
Monitor and keep the rest of our team apprised of important social media marketing developments and innovations

Requirements:
1-3 years experience in content creation, social media or related field
Digital agency or in-house agency/media experience preferred
Fluency in all major social media platforms
Excellent communication skills
Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills
Availability to work on and off site
Keen attention to detail
